Debrief

  • Prior to this activity did you use any of these software tools?  If so which ones.  Prior to this activity I currently had an iGoogle account that I enjoyed creating by adding and deleting gadgets that provide information based around my needs.
  • Do you plan to continue managing the news resources that you have gathered in your personal learning network?  I know that I will continue using iGoogle until it ends on November 2013, and maybe tweet now and then.  But the numerous of apps that can be used in my future classroom, I will definitely hold on too.
  • Do you think that a refined personal learning network would be valuable to a new teacher?  I truly believe that this information of creating learning network was scary at first, but it allowed me to get out of my comfort zone and broaden my horizon.  We are entering a New age of technology and need to learn how to use it appropriately, so that we can educate our students.
